National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)

The National Institutional Ranking Framework is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The ranking system is done based on the discipline like pharmacy, dental sciences, medical sciences, engineering, arts and sciences, polytechnic etc. The Framework was approved by the MHRD and launched by Minister of Human Resource Development on 29 September 2015. Wikipedia

The major 5 parameters considered for the evaluation and ranking the institution. Verification and authentication of data is very important. Data in the website for public scrutiny is very important .

1. Teaching learning resources 30%
2. Research and professional practices 30%
3. Vision and outcomes placements and higher Eduction top        universities 20%
4. Inclusiveness and diversity 10%
5. Perception 10%
